Meek Mill has once again commented on the controversial video he shot during a trip to the Jubilee House in January 2023.

This was after the singer shared a music video he shot at the Presidency which sparked debate – some criticizing the staff for allowing such behaviour and others chastising Meek Mill for disrespecting Ghana.

In a question and answer session with fans on X (formerly Twitter), the rapper was asked why he took the video down.

He explained that his decision stemmed from the fact that many Ghanaians were against it.

The rapper at the time apologised after the video which saw him and his colleagues walking through some chambers of the Jubilee House, as well as the outer precincts of the facility, went viral.

Expressing his apology to Ghanaians and the Presidency, he said he is not familiar with the sensitivities of Ghanaians, adding that he meant no harm whatsoever.

The backlash however seemed to not have marred his experience in Ghana.
Meek Mill announced during the session that he would be returning to Ghana, although he did not set a specific date for it.
He also promised to sign an artiste from Ghana during this trip.
